Jack used to play drums in a jazz band, so he particularly enjoys our fortnightly music sessions with visiting musician Vlad. This is one small example of how staff support residents to continue activities that are important to them.

Over the summer we have had visitors of all kinds including this giant snail who came with the Animal Antics crew when they came to entertain us.

Over the summer we've been working on our patio garden. We were able to plant cuttings from a new resident's home garden in some of the large containers, so he has been able to bring some of his garden to his new home with us. That's not all - he also brought a four- legged friend with him, seen here sitting at the front. We welcome pet visitors - if they're well behaved they can have a treat from our goody jar!

We've been trying out different art and crafts, from therapeutic colouring, to card-making to decorating our welcome tree with butterflies.

Having found out that several of our ladies enjoy knitting, we have started up a weekly 'knit and natter' on Saturday afternoons. Anyone is welcome to join us!
