Rosset Holt – About the Home

rosset-about-home

I can’t stress enough what a wonderful homely and inviting environment Rosset Holt is and if anyone thinking of moving to live with you needs any reassurance I couldn’t think of a nicer place for ‘retirement’! The care received by residents is second to none.

Rosset Holt has 18 rooms, 7 with en-suite facilities.

It was built in the 1920s, originally as a family home. Its Tudor style makes the home very attractive from both the front and rear elevations. Many original features have been retained. Internally the extensive oak panelling is a striking feature with a grand staircase leading to the upper storeys. In the 1960s an additional wing was added to accommodate bedrooms, bathrooms, garages and workshops in the sub-basement.

The gardens at Rosset Holt are maintained to a high standard. The roses in the front garden are a very attractive feature when in bloom. The lawn is accessed by steps and ramping down from a delightful south-facing terrace which is often in use during the summer months.
Rosset Holt is situated in the residential area of Pembury.
