Rosemary Mount – Testimonials

Rosemary Mount Testimonials

Without exception, the staff are friendly, approachable and kind. I am reassured that my Mother-in-law is being cared for in the best possible way. I am kept informed of any changes or developments in her condition and know that these are dealt with appropriately. I cannot state strongly enough how relieved I am that she is in such a safe and caring environment.

To: All the lovely Staff at Rosemary Mount,
Thank you so much – Mum was very happy at a difficult time and was sad to leave.

My Mother was provided with excellent care for over 5 years … At times she could be a challenge but mellowed with old age and care according to her needs, respecting her dignity at all times, and also superb support was given to all of her family as we needed it. Thanks to all involved from the bottom of my heart.

Dear Denise,
It is with a very heavy heart that I have to let you know Daisy (Pets As Therapy dog) and I will no longer be able to visit Rosemary Mount (due to my work situation changing dramatically).
Daisy and I have both loved visiting Rosemary Mount and will miss both the residents and staff. It is such a special home. Daisy will especially miss the biscuits and the marmite! …
Thank you so much for making Daisy and me feel so welcome. We will miss you.

Thank you all so much, Rosemary Mount Team, for the lovely care that you gave Mum while she was with you. You have created a homely, comfortable environment with a great team of people who so obviously care about all the people living there. Thank you too for your care and patience towards us the family in a time which was very new and confusing to us. We really appreciated your help and the cheerfulness and warmth that we felt from all of you.

Dear Denise,
When Dad first came to you … we, that is both he and us, were sad and frightened; sad about his illness and what was happening to him, and frightened about what life would be like in a care home. We did not need to be frightened. The care he received from you and your team, filled with love, affection and respect, immediately put our minds at rest and we knew that he was in the right place …

It never felt like anything you did for Dad was too much trouble for your team … Throughout this you were there for us too; when we needed someone to talk to, someone to have a cup of tea with, or even someone to cry to. I can’t tell you how much I value your support …

The care you gave and the kindness you showed, not just to Dad but to all of us, will remain with us forever. I saw a level of humanity that I had not seen anywhere before, one far removed from the constant interruption and short attention span of the modern world. We want you and all your staff to know just how much the things they do matter. The big things and the little things … I can only hope that we can all find a Rosemary Mount to care for us in our final days … thank you from the very bottom of our hearts.

To you all at Rosemary Mount – Thank you for all the care you have given D over the last 2 years, and especially your loving nursing during her last week, which enabled her to stay in her own room, surrounded by her special photos and care for by those who had become her friends. We cannot tell you how much we appreciate this, and how your support helped us.

I am writing to you to express my gratitude for the way my wife was cared for whilst she was resident at Rosemary Mount. As much as she could portray, I know she felt comfortable and enjoyed her stay.

Personally I would like to give my thanks to all the staff under the guidance of Denise Waller. On every occasion I visited I was treated with kindness and understanding and the information I sought was always forthcoming. I must say myself and the family were impressed with the level of care and the dignity with which my wife was treated. We could not have found a better place for her.

My Mother moved to Rosemary Mount when her previous home closed … Initially, we were upset that she had to be moved but soon found Rosemary Mount to be far superior to the previous home in every way. The home is very bright, clean, tidy and well-run. Mum has a number of challenges including being registered blind, and the staff …treat her in a friendly and compassionate way … It is appreciated that staff are also particularly welcoming to my Father who likes to spend a fair amount of time with her. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found such a lovely “home from home” for Mum.
