Walmer House News – Visit from Rosh Milner

The new Chair of Keychange Charity, Mrs Rosh Milner, has been making her way round Keychange homes and here she was visiting Walmer House in Torquay.  Her visit coincided with a Singalong in the lounge, with the piano being played by the husband of one of the people living at Walmer House.

We recently enjoyed a visit by some of the children from Furrough Cross Junior Church who came to worship with the residents. We also had visits from Central Church Bell Plates group and from our regular singer who plays the piano and sings hymns for the residents.

Walmer House News – Wyn, 100, ‘arrived with the Christmas pud’.

Torquay resident Wyn Wright celebrated her 100th birthday on Christmas Day. Wyn was said to have arrived ‘with the Christmas pudding’ in Hammersmith, London in 1913.
